CAROLI love this hotel! i came here solo after retirement in 2015 and always wanted to come back with my husband. love the history of alan turing’s home, the location in little venice with an easy walk to the regents canal and lovely neighborhood is wonderful. also, only one stop away from paddington station and a block away from the tube station is great. old world ambience if that is for you.10Recommended -

MISS5 stars service in a 4 stars hotel, reservations manager sarah and her team made us feel extremely welcomed. rachel at reception was very welcoming also. the hotel looks great from the outside as well as the inside. even the kitchen staff gave us great a customer service and made us breakfast after breakfast time. i would recommend.9.7Recommended -

NOT RECOMMENDEDThe colonnade hotel is well known to many, who like to visit london and to enjoy the unassuming coziness and cultural significance of the british capital. we used to stay at that hotel for many years, and it has always been an additional joy. the beautiful postcard with an elderly freud entering the hotel was with me for many years.unfortunately, this time everything has changed for worse. instead of exquisite christmas comfort, a boring common atmosphere, instead of the nice painting of the last century, new bright painting and tasteless gold. there is no warning on booking that the oldest elevator in london does not work and those hotel guests, who stay on the 4th and 5th floor. need to carry your luggage by themselvesfinally, in our room there was no hot water, fresh linen, bathrobes, towels, slippers and top it all off, on the first day, three hundred euros disappeared from the secret pocket of my bag, which i left in the corner of the room. after the hotel owner has changed, things get much much worse. and freud from the above mentioned postcard, could find here many subjects for his psychoanalysis !10Recommended
